Remi “Remington”, Psychiatric Service Dog
Meet “Remi”, aka Remington, a mini Australian Shepard. Remi likes spending time in the office with his handler, Shiloh. He is great with people of all ages. Remi is trained as a Psychiatric Service Dog. If he senses a rise in anxiety or tension he will “brace” the affected person in order to help them stabilize and ground them to their surroundings. If you have any aversion to dogs, or have allergies, please let us know. Remi is only here to serve and never to cause stress.
Tips for meeting Remi:
Let him come to you.
If he does come to you, it is okay to touch, or pet, him, since he is choosing this interaction.
If you feel he would be beneficial for you during a session it is okay to request him. Remi has a very busy schedule but he will do his best to accommodate requests.
