Ever have the feeling you have lost something? Can’t quite put your finger on it? Is your brain a little foggy? Maybe what you are looking for is BALANCE.

There seems to be a struggle in our world. If you are always on the go, constantly moving, people think you are driven. If you take too much time off, move at a pace that is too slow, you might be labeled as lazy. Somewhere in the middle is the magic mix, the happy blend, the of the truly successful, called BALANCE.

The problem is finding BALANCE without feeling guilty or neglectful. Here are a few tips:

  • Listen to your body.

Do you have knots in your neck, persistent headaches, or feel like a cold is trying to come on? Your body is giving you a cue. Take a break.

  • Listen to your mind.

Are you having anxious thoughts that just won’t seem to be still? Maybe trouble sleeping? Having difficulty focusing? Take a pause. Even a short one can give your mind a boost.

  • Stop comparing.

Don’t try to keep up the same pace with others. Your journey is unique and special to you.
